Trinity happenings

Trinity Lutheran Church, 175 S. Third St., Lehighton will hold First Saturday worship at 5 p.m., with holy communion. The Rev. Michael Frost, pastor at Zion's Stone Church, New Ringgold, will preside.

Sixteenth Sunday after Pentecost worship with the baptism of two babies is at 9 a.m. Interim pastor, the Rev. Donald Hayn, will preside. The church is air-conditioned. Coffeehouse fellowship follows.

Weekly Sunday School sessions begin with Rally Day activities for children ages 3 through grade 12 at 10:15 a.m. Parents are welcome to stay for songs from Vacation Bible School and an overview of the curriculum. Fourth-grade students each receive a Bible.

Lehighton Bible Church plans events

Lehighton Bible Church will hold a corn roast at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Mauch Chunk Lake, Koch pavilion.

There will be a men's breakfast and fellowship at 8 a.m. Saturday Sept. 28 at the Beacon 443 Diner.

Lehighton Bible Church will observe its 43rd anniversary on Sunday, Oct. 6. There will be cake and coffee following the morning service.

Weekly services will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday and at 10 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sundays.
