Firefighters will use the money to purchase water-rescue equipment. A previous club donation allowed the fire company to buy a five-gas analyzer that helps protect firefighters from toxic and explosive gasses. The club raised funds for the recent donation through its Oktoberfest and Car Show last year. This year's event will be held on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the American Legion Post 927 on Fairgrounds Road in Gilbert.
