Numerous area residents were among 69 who were arraigned Monday morning at the Schuylkill County Courthouse on criminal charges and all entered pleas of not guilty and requested a jury trial. They were;

Gemile B. Mehmeti, 25, of 409 E. Ridge St., Coaldale, charged by Rush Township Patrolman James Patterson, with theft of a coffee machine valued at $119 from Wal-Mart Store in Hometown last Sept. 22.

Jamie L. Bauder, 30. of 128 W. Hazard St. School Apt. 206, Summit Hill, charged by West Penn Township Chief Brian Johnson, with aggravated assault, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, five counts of simple assault, two counts of attempted to commit simple assault with a deadly weapon, four counts each of recklessly endangering another person and harassment.

Information filed to court claims last June 7 Bauder attempted to strike several people with his vehicle on Winter Mountain Road following a domestic dispute.

Brian Keith Woods, 48, of 259 W. Rowe St., formerly of 18 Mauch Chunk St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Joseph Krebs, with making threats and improper influence in official matters, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, public drunkenness, and scattering rubbish (small whiskey bottle) in the parking lot of Family Dollar Store last May 4.

Stephen Tyler Welsh, 23, of 124 E. Fell St., formerly of 120 E. Holland St., Summit Hill, charged by Rush Sgt. Duane Frederick, with retail theft of television set valued at $278 from Wal-Mart Store in Hometown last May 13.

Levi G. Warren, 30, of 616 Old Route 209, Tamaqua R.D., charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, two counts of being involved in an accident causing damage to a parked vehicle on West Broad Street last Feb. 23, and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic.

Christopher C. Jandrisevitz, 38, of 125 Penn St., Tamaqua, formerly of 22 E. Foster St., Coaldale, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with DUI of alcohol, and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic on Number 11 Hill last April.

Charles Natale, 53, of 413 E. Grant St., McAdoo, charged by McAdoo Patrolman Jeffrey Tanner, with altering or forging the license plate on his vehicle, and violations of use of certificate of inspection.

April Lynn Miller, 35, of 63 Hunter St., Apt. 1, formerly of 4 Cherry St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with possession of drug paraphernalia when stopped at the intersection of Rolling Mill Avenue and Vine Street last Jan. 3.

Erica Nicole Sillers, 23, last known address, 332 Clark St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with theft of jewelry valued at $3,475 belonging to Sharon Keich, 270 Van Gelder St., last March 24.

Robert Lee Miller, 33, of 103 E. Snyder Avenue, McAdoo, charged by Pottsville Patrolman Michael Stank, with passing a bad check in amount of $225 to Ed's USA Auto Rental Shop last May 1 for rental of a vehicle.

Joseph Michael Porvaznik, 29, of 1965 Crest Drive, Coatesville, formerly of 136 E. Holland St., Summt Hill, charged by Pottsville police with criminal attempt to acquire a controlled substance (CS), forging signature of a physician on a drug prescription, theft of a blank pad of prescription forms, receiving stolen property, committing an unlawful act, and possession of a CS last Sept. 27.

Porvaznik was also charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Anthony Stanell, with two counts each of criminal attempt to acquire a CS and forgery, and one count of receiving stolen property.

James Edward Gibson, of 223 W. Rowe St., Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Michael Hobbs, with criminal conspiracy and theft from a motor vehicle.

Brandon M. Hosler, 1317 Shady Lane, Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Michael Hobbs, with criminal conspiracy, theft from a motor vehicle, and receiving stolen property.

April Lynn Miller, 35, of 240 E. Broad St., Apt. 1, Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with delivery of a CS to an confidential informant (CI) on North Greenwood Street last May 19, possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of communication facility, and possession.

Martin B. Borosh, 29, Pottsville, formerly of Tamaqua, charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers, with criminal conspiracy and receiving a jewelry box stolen from 270 Van Gelder St., Tamaqua, property of Sharon Keich last March 24.
