Nine students from Our Lady of the Angels Academy, Lansford, were recently named Students of the Month for September. They were selected because they exhibited the virtue of responsibility. The following are quotes from each student.

Kindergarten: Derek Schlosser: "I am always ready to learn."

First grade, Logan Fisher: "I am responsible. I listen to my parents and teachers. I follow directions. I also help my sister clean up her toys."

Second grade, Stephen Behun IV: "I listen to Mr. Davis when he is talking to us. I clean up trash in the classroom and out in the play area. I study and do my homework correctly."

Third grade, Valerie Blasko: "I am responsible. I listen to my teacher and take care of my things."

Fourth grade, Sadie Trubilla: "I have all of my school supplies and I always have all of my homework completed. I am always prepared."

Fifth grade, Jacob Shelton: "If someone drops something, I will pick it up. I complete my homework every day."

Sixth grade, Brian Bauer: "I do all of my work. I take punishment fairly. I do whatever my teacher tells me to do."

Seventh grade, Seth Feisel: "I get all of my work done. I try my best at everything I do. I also respect my friends and my teachers."

Eighth grade, Julia Hoben: "I am responsible in school and out. I complete all of my assignments and try my hardest with each one. I use my full potential on all of my daily tasks."
