A 10-year-old Tamaqua girl has been charged in connection with an incident at the North/Middle Ward Playground.
At 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 6 officers were dispatched to the Washington Street playground and met with the father of a 10-year-old girl, who had allegedly been choked by another girl. The victim also reportedly had her hair pulled.
The alleged assailant, with her mother present, admitted pushing the other girl, but denied choking her.
The juvenile was charged with harassment.
