Blue Mountain Health System medication review

During National Hospital & Health-System Pharmacy Week Blue Mountain Health System will offer residents a one-on-one review of medications with a pharmacist.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 22, you may talk to a pharmacist from Blue Mountain Health System in the community room at the Gnaden Huetten campus, 211 N. 12th St. in Lehighton, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the cafeteria on the ground floor at the Palmerton Hospital campus, 135 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton.Routinely taking many different kinds of medications or medications ordered by different doctors can lead to a great deal of confusion when taking medications.Gather all of your current medications, including prescription medicines (pills and creams); over-the-counter medications you take regularly; vitamins and supplements; and herbal medicines and bring them to discuss with a pharmacist so he or she can look for any potential problems.Register for an appointment by calling the hospital health system at 610-377-7070.
