Temple Israel of Lehighton has announced its Chanukah Celebration at its monthly Nosh & Natter from 2-4 p.m. Sunday.

The celebration will feature the story of the miracles, holiday songs and those attending are asked to bring their favorite dreidel games, as well as a personal menorah, candles and memorable stories.

Members will light the chanuklot as a community. Non-members visiting the Lehighton area are welcome to attend.

A special Chanukah treat, which has become a tradition at the celebration are the 'Rockman' Latkes. There will also be a selection of Nosh & Natter Pot Luck donations from those attending, who are asked to bring their favorite Chanukah dish.

If a dish requires heating, please come at 5:30 p.m. Please bring disposable pans or plates for serving if possible.

Temple Israel of Lehighton, Shul Social Hall, is located at 94 Bankway, Lehighton.

Those attending are also asked to participate in the temple's Mitzvah Project by donating a can of food for the Lehigh Valley's Kosher Food Pantry and the local Lehighton community pantry.
