A person sought by police was arrested after a Monroe County traffic stop.
Pocono Mountain Regional Police reported that at 11:38 a.m. Nov. 7 they received a call from security at A Pocono Country Place, Tobyhanna. The security guards said they saw Oliver Peterson, 21, of Tobyhanna, getting into a gray Honda Accord. They said they believed Peterson had an active warrant out for his arrest issued to PMRP.
Police stopped the vehicle near the PCP entry gate, and arrested Peterson. It was verified that there was a warrant for his arrest for retail theft issued out of Pocono Regional police and another out of Pocono Township police. Peterson was identified by a New York identification card.
