Jeremy Jason Hill, 33 of Port Carbon, is facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol as a result of an incident at 4:56 a.m. Nov. 9 on Trolley Street in Cumbola, Blythe Township.

State police at the Frackville barracks said while on patrol they noticed a vehicle parked along the south berm of the roadway with the front of the 2002 Chevrolet S10 off the road in the bushed and the rear of it partially in the oncoming lane.Police said they found Hill asleep at the wheel with the engine of the vehicle running.Police said upon speaking to the driver, they smelled a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage being emitted from his breath and person. He was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, where he submitted to a blood test to determine his blood-alcohol content.
