Local teenage rock band A.D.D. opened for Sammy Hager, the Red Rocker and the Wabos at the Sands in Bethlehem. The young band recently played in front of nearly 2,500 people for about 45 minutes.

The five young musicians were recognized last year with an invitation to attend the National Association of Music Merchants show in Anaheim, California, Jan. 19-22. The invitation was made possible by Magdom Music professionals.

The band members are Tyler Ritter, Nick McGeehan and his brother, Matt McGeehan; Dakota McGeehan, and Paul Ermlich.

The band members all have years of music lessons and are young talented performers.

Tyler Ritter plays guitar and is a back up vocalist. Ritter is also the pianist.

Nick McGeehan started taking drum lessons at age 9. and Nick's older brother, Matt, plays guitar and is a back up vocalist. Matt started guitar lessons at 8 years old.

Dakota McGeehan, is the lead singer. He began singing at age 7.

Paul Ermlich is the bass guitarist.

Several of the boys got a taste for playing in a band when they played with Royal Jam Music Conservatory, but when several members of the Royal Jam band decided to take a break, it led to the formation of A.D.D. The missing link of a lead singer was filled when Dakota joined the band.

A.D.D. plays at many events and has a growing fan base.

They play everything classic rock, heavy metal and modern. Both old and young attend their concerts.

Gene McGeehan is their booking agent, while Scott Ritter serves as sound technician.
