Burglary, other incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported investigating a burglary, thefts, and criminal mischief incidents.

The break-in occurred at a residence at 163 Pine Grove Rd., in Eldred Township, Monroe County. Troopers said entry was made to the home by unknown persons who plugged the sinks and turned on the water causing water damage at various locations throughout the home. The home is owned by U.S. Bank National, troopers said. The incident was reported on April 16.Leonard Andreczski, 60, of Wind Gap, reported someone removed a 100 pound propane tank, a wheel barrel, and an aluminum ladder from outside his property at 146 Chicola Lakes, in Ross Township, Monroe County. The incident occurred sometime between May 17 and 20, troopers said.The 1999 Jeep of Cynthia Papile, 53, of Gilbert, was stolen from her home along Interchange Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, but later located. The vehicle was taken sometime between 6:30 p.m. on May 24, and 7:30 a.m. on May 25. Pocono Mountain Regional police found the vehicle later on May 25, troopers said.Three acts of criminal mischief were reported.Susan Dunbar, 53, of 231 Center St., Parryville, reported someone put a nail in the thread of the right front tire of her vehicle causing it to go flat. The incident occurred sometime between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on May 22.Mario Thenier, of Floyd Drive, Kunkletown, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone broke the rear window on his antique Pontiac Firebird parked at his residence. The incident occurred sometime between May 6-13.
