The Bach and Handel Chorale will perform a concert at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center (TCAC), 125 Pine Street, Tamaqua, on Saturday, May 18. Doors will open at 2:30 p.m. and the concert will begin at 3:00 p.m. The concert is a free-will offering with all proceeds going to the TCAC.

Seating will be limited and available on a first come first serve basis. Handicap access and overflow seating is available on the first floor with closed circuit simulcast viewing. Street parking is available on Pine, Mauch Chunk, and Biddle Streets. Light refreshments will be served at a meet and greet with Chorale members immediately following the performance.

The Bach and Handel Chorale will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2014. Maestro Randall Douglas Perry, artistic director, conducts and accompanies the chorale on the piano in a varied program of hymns and classical pieces written by the masters of the Baroque Period through modern times. Founded by Maestro Perry in 1984, an anniversary concert will be held on April 26, 2014 at 3 p.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in historic Jim Thorpe. The Tamaqua Community Arts Center is a 501(c3) organization which relies on volunteer involvement to provide programming.
