Eric Filer, 114 E. High St., Coaldale, has been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at Widener University School of Law, Harrisburg.

He is a son of James and Nancy Filer.Eric is a 2005 graduate of Panther Valley High School who earned his undergraduate degree in biology in 2009 from Gettysburg College.Dean's list honors at Widener are awarded only to students whose academic performance for the semester places them in the top 20 percent of the student body for their respective class and division.
