According to the Pocono District of Penn State Extension, a Mistaken Identity: Invasive Plants and Their Native Look-Alikes webinar will be held on April 9, from noon to 1 p.m. and repeated from 7 to 8 p.m.

Invasive plants are an increasing threat to Pennsylvania's forests and native biodiversity. Learn how to identify common non-native invasive plants that may be impacting your woods and what you may be able to do about these invasives. Native look-alikes and alternatives will also be highlighted. The webinar will be presented by Carrie Gilbert, botanist, Pennsylvania DCNR Bureau of Forestry, Ecological Services Section.

If you are unable to participate in the live session, a recording of it will be available to view at your convenience.
