State police at Lehighton are investigating a robbery incident that reportedly occurred on Sunday, March 17, between 9:30 and 10 a.m. in Saylorsburg, Monroe County.

Troopers said Dominick Anthony Scheld, 23, and Sarah Elizabeth Huggard, 24, both of Effort, were walking along Milton Lane when a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta stopped. Two males exited the vehicle and chased Scheld looking for his wallet, troopers said. When they discovered that Huggard had Scheld's wallet, in her purse, the two suspects restrained her and took the purse. The suspects then fled the scene.Troopers said the suspects were located and identified as Nicole M. Zeruth, 25, who the Jetta was registered to, Lawrence E. Haines II, 28, and Louis Robert Zeruth III, 22, all of Saylorsburg.Troopers said the investigation into the incident is continuing.
