The year 2013 is the 250th anniversary of Chestnuthill Township, which at its inception also included Eldred, Polk and Ross Townships.

To celebrate the anniversary, events are planned throughout the year.A major celebration is anticipated during the weekend of Sept. 7.The next anniversary planning meeting is Wednesday, March 20, at 7 p.m. in the Chestnuthill Township Park Building.For more information, check the Web site:
