Penn State Master Gardeners welcome eight new members

The Penn State Master Gardeners program in Carbon County recently welcomed eight new members during the Class of 2013 graduation ceremony. The new Master Gardener apprentices completed a weekly training that began last October and lasted until February. Apprentices are, seated, from left, Marlene Green, Robert L. McAloose, and Noraine McGee. Standing, Michael Cormier, Patricia Suda, Eileen East and Jennifer Reduzzi. Missing from photo is Tina McAloose. The primary purpose of the Penn State Master Gardener program is to educate the public on the principles of gardening.
