A suspicious vehicle incident led to charges being filed against a McAdoo man on June 18.
Borough police were dispatched to the first (unit) block of East Grant Street at 3:02 a.m. The caller reported a silver Chevrolet Impala was parked in the middle of the street, revving the engine.
The officer observed the car and noticed there was a male in the driver's seat. The man was laying back in the seat, with his eyes closed, and appeared to be asleep. It took several attempts to rouse him. The car's transmission was in the neutral position and the driver, identified as Robert Wagner Jr. of 36 E. Blaine St., failed to heed the officer's request to put it in park. The officer had to reach inside and turn off the ignition.
Wagner was asked to perform several field sobriety tests, which he failed.
He was cited for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.
