Coaldale man violates PFA order

A Coaldale man faces a contempt charge for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse (PFA) order.

Francis Paul Sytnik Jr., 26, of 50 Bull Run St., was charged on June 7 by Officer Charles Blesse.According to an affidavit of probable cause filed with District Judge Stephen Bayer of Tamaqua, here's what happened:At 12:14 a.m. Blesse was dispatched by the Schuylkill County Communications Center to the address. There he was met by Sytnik, who had earlier been evicted from the house. Blesse told Sytnik he was not allowed on the property, and Sytnik agreed to leave.The victim told Blesse she didn't want Sytnik on the property and that there was an active PFA against him. Blesse checked records, but did not find an active PFA on Sytnik from the Coaldale police, nor did he know of one.Blesse asked her to get him a copy of the order. At 1 a.m. he was called back to the house and the victim gave him a copy of the order.Blesse found Sytnik, and arrested him.
