A Coaldale woman drew a long prison sentence after pleading guilty to two count of driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol. She was one of 22 defendants who pleaded guilty to criminal charges and were sentenced by Judge Charles M. Miller in Schuylkill County court.

Judy Lynn Fetrow, 45, of 341 Ridge Terrace, sentenced on two DUI of alcohol charges and received a total sentence of 93 days in the county Pprison to five years and six months.

She also has was fined $2,500, pay $600 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $100 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) fund, $160 to Schuylkill Medical Center (SMC), $100 to Catastrophe fund, perform 20 hours community service, and driver's license suspended 24 months. Fetrow was cited by Pottsville police and by Trooper Mark W. Knock. On two counts of failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $50 plus $100 costs.

Shawn William Clemens, 36, of 6 Bolgash Lane, Tamaqua R.D., simple assault on Thomas Carroll, 626 E. Broad St., Tamaqua, 18 months probation, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $6,665.30 to victim. Charges of aggravated assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness were dropped. Clemens was cited by Tamaqua Patrolman Joseph Krebs.

Richard Edward Michlousky, 51, of 261 Rowe St., Tamaqua, disorderly conduct, fined $300 and pay $50 to CJEA fund. He was cited by Tamaqua Patrolman Karl Harig. He received credit for serving one day in the county prison. Under a plea agreement three counts of threatening and improper influence in official matters were dismissed.

Robert Joseph Roundtree, 43, of 49 Water St., New Philadelphia, disorderly conduct, fined $100 and pay $50 to CJEA fund. A charge of simple assault was dismissed. He was cited by Trooper Michael J. Van Buskirt.

Willis Arthur Fredericks Jr., 45. of 58 Wiggan St., New Philadelphia, simple assault on Margaret Robinson, Seltzer Road, Norwegian Township, given credit for time served from last Sept. 27 to present and released on probation for 23 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund. He was cited by Trooper Michael J. Breznik. On a charge of resisting arrest, 23 months probation and pay $50 to CJEA fund. He was cited at his home by Corporal Leo R. Luciana, state trooper.

Michael Carl Reber, 26, of 144 Coal St., Cumbola, Blythe Township, DUI of alcohol, 72 hours hours six months in the county prison beginning Monday, July 15, at 9 a.m., fined $1,000, pay $300 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $50 to MCARE fund, $60 to SMC, complete safety school, receive outpatient substance abuse treatment, and driver's license suspended 12 months. On a summary charge of failing to have car lights on during required period was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Reber was cited by Schuylkill Haven police.

Todd Michael Saunders, 39, Pottsville, DUI of drugs, serve 30 days in the county prison beginning Tuesday, July 9, at 9 a. m. followed by four years and 11 months on probation in the Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP), fined $1,500, pay $300 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, $460 to SMC, complete safety school, driver's license suspended 18 months and when restored must have ignition interlock device on car for 12 months. On a summary charge of failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Saunders was cited by Trooper Thoimas Hornung when stopped on SR443 in Wayne Township.

Kathleen Herb, Shenandoah, DUI of alcohol, given credit for serving 37 days in a rehab center saved her from spending 30 days in the county prison and she was placed in the IPP for four years and 11 months, fined $1,500, pay $300 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, complete safety school, continue with behavioral health treatment, driver's license suspended 18 months and when restored install an ignition interlock on her vehicle for 12 months.

Alfredo Carabello, 56, Shenandoah, disorderly conduct, fined $100 and pay $50 to CJEA fund. He was cited by Pottsville Cpl. Francis T Lynagh.

Alex Lee King, 45, Minersville, driving while his license was suspended-DUI related, fined $1,000 plus $50 costs, undergo imprisonment 90 days and can participate in work release program, pay $60 to SMC, and $50 to CJEA fund. On summary charges of failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic and failing to give notice of accident was fined $50 plus $100 costs. King was cited by Trooper Michael Allen on Interstate 81 in Ryan Township.

John Harley Armstrong, 31, Pottsville, possession of a controlled substance (CS), serve three to 12 months in the county prison with the sentence to begin Friday, July 26, at 4 p.m., pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, and $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Armstrong was cited by Pottsville Cpl. Dennis G. Wiederhold.

Amanda Karen Borowski, 21, Port Carbon, pleaded nolo contendre (no defense) to delivery of a controlled substance in Minersville, criminal conspiracy and criminal use of cell phone, serve three to 23 months in the county prison with credit for serving nine days, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA , $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab and has permission to visit her orthodontist each month to have her braces adjusted. Borowski was cited by Minersville Patrolman Jeffrey R. Bowers.

Megan Alyssa Leymeister, 28, Schuylkill Haven, theft by deception, 23 months probation, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. She was cited by Schuylkill Haven Patrolman Kenneth A. Jacoby. On a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana received a concurrent sentence of 30 days probation, pay $100 to SAE fund and $50 to CJEA fund. Leymeister was cited by Potttsville police.

Laura Nicole Hadder, 25, Lost Creek, West Mahanoy Township, theft of scrap metal from Sorins Recycling Center,12 months probation, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and restitution to Sorin's $4.31. Hadder was cited by Shenandoah Patrolman Laurie Dudash. On a charge of retail theft from Walmart Store in Saint Clair, given a concurrent 12 months probation sentence, pay $50 to CJEA, and perform 10 hours community service.

Charles Edward Huhn, 31, Ashland, delivery of a controlled substance to confidential informant (CI) in Cressona Mall parking lot, serve six to 23 months in the county prison and is eligible for work release program, fined $100, pay $100 to SAE fund, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $113 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Huhn was cited by Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.

James Francis Killian, 26, Mahanoy City, two counts of hindering apprehension of person sought by police and one count of obstructing administration of law, received credit for serving 16 days in the county prison and released on parole for 12 months, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. Killian was cited by Mahanoy City Officer Robert Romanick.

Cassidy Robert Long, 29, Pottsville, three counts of simple assault and one count each of endangering welfare of a child and harassment, six to 23 months in the county prison, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. He was cited by saint Clair Chief Michael P. Carey. On a charge of resisting arrest was given an additional 13 months on probation and pay $50 to CJEA fund.

Rodney Alan McDonald, 21, Schuylkill Haven, two counts of theft from motor vehicle, placed on probation two years, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $58.30 to Pete Fridirici, Long View Drive, Schuylkill Haven. McDonald was cited by Patrolman Warren G. Firing.

James B. Pillsbury, Pine Grove, theft of a semi automatic pistol belonging to Michael Olt, Pine Grove. and damaged air conditioner, 12 months probation, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $1,100 to Olt. On a charge of criminal mischief was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Pillsbury was cited by Trooper Michael J. Keating.

Anthony Joseph Swetavage, 30, Shenandoah, terroristic threats against Bernadette Chesonis, Shenandoah Heights, placed on probation 23 months, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. On a charge of harassment was fined $25 plus $50 costs. He was cited by Shenandoah Patrolman Michael O'Neill.

Stephanie Ann Chamberlin, 39, Pottsville, DUI of drugs, 72 hours to six months in the county prison beginning Thursday, June 27, at 9 a.m., fined $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $50 to MCARE fund, $460 to Schuylkill Medical Center, attend safety school, receive outpatient substance abuse counseling, perform 20 hours community service, and driver's license suspended 12 months. On a summary charge of driving while driver's license suspended was fined $200 and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic fined $25 plus $100 in costs. Chamberlin was cited by Trooper Thomas Hornung on Pheasant Run Road, West Brunswick Township.

Jared Aaron Raczka, 21, Minersville, DUI of alcohol, 48 hours to six months in the county prison, fined $500, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to SMC, perform 10 hours community service, complete safety school, and driver's license suspended 12 months. Raczka was cited by Trooper Alyssa J. Becker on Seltzer Road, Norwegian Township.

Each defendant must also pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
