Jason P. Tessitore, 28, of 107 Washington St., Tamaqua, has been cited by police following a disturbance on June 12.

At 7:20 a.m., police received a report of a disturbance in the area of the row homes in the 100 block of Washington St. On scene officers found Tessitore standing in the street yelling at someone inside 107 Washington St. Tessitore had blood on his hand, which was apparently cut when he caused damage to the home's vinyl siding.

Tessitore was belligerent, refused to answer the officer's question and appeared to be intoxicated. One of the home's residents told officers that Tessitore was not welcome there due to his inebriated condition. She also provided several bags filled with Tessitore's belongings.

Tessitore told officers he wasn't drunk, just hung over. He refused to leave the area and threatened to start banging his head on a pole or do further damage to the home. He was taken into custody and cited for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
