A Carbon County man is facing charges of criminal mischief.

State police at Lehighton said Michael Shafer, 28, is accused of damaging the tires on the vehicles of Sevdije Mehmed, 32, of Brodheadsville, and Taffani George, 23, of Palmerton. The incident occurred outside the Blue Mountain Pub, located along Forest Inn Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, about 1:18 a.m. on June 13.
