Stonehenge Gardens in South Tamaqua is currently featuring the work of 17-year old artist Meghan Dailey, Palmerton, in their monthly gallery.
"I learned everything from my very talented and dedicated art teacher Ronald Debias who worked with me vigorously to make me the best I could possibly be," said Dailey, a recent graduate of Palmerton Area High School, and daughter of Dave and Lisa Dailey of Palmerton. "With my work and his mentoring, I was able to create the pieces I have in my show."
Dailey routinely volunteers her time helping in the community. She earned Palmerton's Lions Club LEO of the Year for 2012 and is attending Lehigh Carbon Community College and hopes to pursue a career in computer forensics. She also plans to continue her art on the side and hopes to inspire other young people to express themselves through art.
Her work will remain on display at Stonehenge, 51 Dairy Road, until Aug. 3. For more information about the gardens, which are open 365 days a year, call (570) 386-4276, visit their Facebook page or go to StonehedgeGardens.org.
