It's a very busy week at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe, starting Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Grateful Dead founding member Phil Lesh will be on the state in concert.
If you don't have tickets, you're out of luck. The concert is sold out.
On Thursday night, the Old Crow Medicine Show brings its unique performance to the venue.
Friday night there's a deck party featuring Free Range Folk, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Then on Friday and Saturday, the 10th annual Wine on the Mountain will be held.
For nearly 15 years, Old Crow Medicine Show have embodied all the tradition and hallmarks of American music. Since getting together in New York in the 90's, the band has toured the world, sold over 700,000 albums, and played hallowed stages like the Grand Ole Opry.
From the start the band has believed in their musichey believed in their music, and rightfully so: few artists can count a co-writing credit with Bob Dylan to their name as OCMS can for the classic gold-certified "Wagon Wheel."
