Incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported investigating the following incidents.

On June 27 about 8:40 p.m. troopers responded to 22 Wetzel Rd., in Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, for a report of a criminal trespass at the home. A further investigation revealed that unknown criminals broke into the unoccupied struckure sometime between May 27 and June 27. Nothing was apparently taken and no damages were noted.The home is owned by Rebecca Sue Goephert, of Quakertown.On June 28 about 11:03 a.m. troopers responded to 204 Squirrelwood Court, Effort, in Monroe County, for a criminal mischief incident. Unknown criminals broke a decorative concrete cat on the property, owned by John E. Schwarzenbach.Brad Allen Meinhart, 617 Blose St., Bowmanstown, reported someone vandalized his 2007 Nissan Altima by scratching it while parked at the residence. The incident occurred sometime between June 23 and 30.
