State police at Fern Ridge are investigating burglaries at two Carbon County locations. Both occurred in Penn Forest Township.

Troopers said a residence at 767 Old Stage Road was entered sometime between June 22 and June 29 and vandalized. The home is owned by Mary Beth Caracci, 54, of Delran, N.J.The second entry was made at 20 Berrymane Lane. Entry was made through Bilco doors. Removed from the home was copper piping. The incident occurred sometime between Oct. 1, 2012, and June 29. The home is owned by Maria Barilla, 48, of Hicksville, N.Y.
