CCEEC hostsbook swap

Carbon County Environmental Education Center will host its "1st Annual Book Swap" from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26.

The event is geared to those who have books that they no longer read. Cookbooks and children's books are also welcome.Instead of throwing those books away or letting them collect dust, bring them to the center's first ever book swap and take home a new read, while saving the landfills from more trash. There is no need to register for this program. For more information, call (570) 645-8597.The CCEEC is located at the west end of Mauch Chunk Lake Park, along Lentz Trail in Summit Hill, just outside of Jim Thorpe.
