Two area residents were among 13 who entered guilty pleas to criminal charges in Schuylkill County court and were sentenced by Judge Charles M. Miller.

Theodore C. Black, 45, of 100 Dorset Road, New Ringgold, simple assault on Lauren Steinbrunn, New Ringgold, last June 23, was placed on probation 12 months, and ordered to pay $50 to Criminal Justice Enhancement Account (CJEA) fund, perform 10 hours of community service, and have no contact with victim. Black was cited by West Penn Township Patrolman Corey L. Frey.

Timothy M. Dunstan, of 210 E. Patterson St., Lansford, possession of drug paraphernalia, placed on probation 12 months, fined $250, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, and $50 to CJEA fund. Dunstan was cited by Mahanoy City Cpl Michael Dissinger, last April 22.

Andrew Joseph Toczek, 27, Orwigsburg, driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison beginning Friday, Jan. 25, at 9 a.m., fined $1,000, pay $300 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to SMC, perform 10 hours community service, attend safety school, and receive outpatient substance treatment. Toczek was cited by Trooper John B. Carr last May 17.

On a second DUI of alcohol he was placed in Intermediate Punishment Program (IPP) for six months with the sentence to begin at the expiration of the first sentence, fined $1,000, pay $300 to SAE fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to SMC, and driver's license suspended 12 months. He was cited by Orwigsburg police.

Jeonnee Ismael Hernandez, 29, Port Carbon, harassment of Luis Castaneda in kitchen at Palermo's Restaurant, Pottsville/Minersville Highway, fined $50 and costs. He was cited by Trooper Todd W. Heintz last Feb. 28.

Mark Edward Hysock, 41, Shenandoah, involved in accident with car of Danielle Wychulis at Coal and Vine sts., last Feb. 26 and failed to stop, placed on probation 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, $60 to SMC, and perform 10 hours of community service. Hysock was cited by Shenandoah Patrolman Christopher Zuber.

Travis Ray Lucas, 28, Donaldson, Tremont Township, stalking, placed on probation 18 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and have no contact with the victim, Amanda Minnich, Frailey Township, or her family.

On a charge of driving while his license was suspended was fined $200; and failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $25 plus $100 costs. Lucas was cited by Trooper Michael Keating.

John Steven Petrovich, 43, Pitman, Eldred Township, simple assault arising out of a domestic dispute with Angela Mae Williams, placed on probation 23 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, perform 10 hours of community service, and successfully complete Anger Management classes. He was cited by Trooper William Luckenbill last June 13.

Beth Mary Stamm, 30, Orwigsburg, criminal mischief to rented camp at 91 Drehersville Road, West Brunswick Township, placed on probation 18 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and make restitution of $2,600 to Rodney Nesmith. Stamm was cited by Trooper Chad M. Smith last November 5.

Craig Timothy Crossen, 31, Tremont, simple assault on Taylor Marie Fidler, Tremont, placed on probation 12 months, pay $50 to CJEA fund, and enroll and complete Anger Management classes, Crossen was cited by Trooper Jeffrey Hummel last June 30.

Dylan Scott Drost, 22, Schuylkill Haven, DUI of drugs, sentenced to serve 72 hours to six months in the county prison with the sentence to begin Friday, Feb. 1, at 9 a.m., fined $1,000, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, and attend safety school.

On a charge of failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Drost was cited by Trooper Caleb J. Huber on Dec. 11, 2011, on Meadow Drive in South Manheim Township.

Lisa Annette Keller, 45, Schuylkill Haven, DUI of alcohol, sentenced to serve 90 days to five years IPP with electronic monitoring with the sentence to begin Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 9 a.m., fined $1,500, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $200 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to SMC, attend safety school, and driver's license suspended 12 months.

On a charge of failing to drive on road laned for traffic was fined $25 plus $50 fine. Keller was cited by Trooper Peter F. Mohn when stopped on Meadow Drive, South Manheim Township.

Scott Allen Marquardt, 45, Ashland, was sentenced to undergo imprisonment either in the county prison or Gallatin County Prison in Montana for 30 days to six months with the sentence to become effective Wednesday, Feb. 6, fined $750, pay $100 to SAE fund, $100 to Catastrophe fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $60 to SMC, and perform 40 hours of community service. He was cited by Girardville Patrolman John Borchick, last March 21.

Alexus Ann Rupert, 28, Mahanoy City, DUI of alcohol, serve 48 hours to six months in county prison with the sentence to begin Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 9 a.m., fined $500, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to CJEA fund, $50 to Catastrophe fund, $60 to SMC, perform 20 hours community service, and driver's license suspended 12 months.

On a charge of driving while license suspended was fined $200 plus $50 costs. Rupert was cited by Mahanoy Township Officer Brandon Alexander, when stopped on Delano Road last Jan. 7.

Each defendant must also pay additional court costs and a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
