Assault and other charges were filed against a Schuylkill County man following a domestic disturbance. State police at Frackville said the incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 14, at 4 Chunky Lane, in West Mahanoy Township.

Troopers said at the time and date state Michael Linkchorst, 32, of Shenandoah, and a 20-year-old female, described as boyfriend and girlfriend, engaged in a verbal argument that included allegations of physical contact and verbal threats. The female received minor injuries as a result, troopers said.Linkchorst was taken into custody and charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and harassment.He was arraigned before on-call District Judge Anthony Kilker, of Shenandoah, and released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
