Carbon IAC accepting grant applications

The Carbon County Interagency Council (IAC) is accepting applications for a $500 Social Services Grant.

This grant is open to all agencies who meet the guidelines of the agency's mission statement and who serve any population of Carbon County. The Interagency Council's mission statement is to "increase and promote the quality of human services in the community."Their purpose is to develop a better knowledge of existing agencies and service, as well as to provide support and education for member agencies and Individuals.This grant can be used for any existing programs or any new programs that an agency may have and is a onetime payment.To receive an application, email the IAC at

There is a $15 application fee due with the submission of the application to non-members of the IAC. This fee will also serve as a one-year membership to the Interagency Council.The deadline to submit an application is Friday, March 22. The grant recipient will be notified the week of April 22.The presentation of the grant will occur at the IAC Fourth Annual Legislative Brunch to be held on April 26, at the Penn Forest Fire Co. No. 1.
