The state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement has cited a Summit Hill establishment for allegedly violating the law.

St. Gabriel's Club, 121 Market St., had or operated gambling devices or paraphernalia, or permitted gambling or lotteries, pool selling and/or bookmaking on its premises, according to a news release issued by PLCB.The charges will be brought before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50-$1,000 for minor offenses, and up to $50,000 for more serious offenses.The judge can also impose a license suspension or revocation, based on the severity of the charges. The judge can also mandate training for the licensee in an effort to educate them on the requirements of being a licensee.
