A Nuremberg, Schuylkill County, woman who police said left the scene of a crash at 6:35 p.m. Dec. 28 in North Union Township, is facing charges.

State police at Frackville said Jennifer Whitener, 29, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on Mahanoy Street and was attempting to pull into a parking spot when the vehicle drove into another vehicle that was already parked, pushing it forward about four feet.Police said Whitner exited the Tahoe and walked to her home about a block away leaving the crashed vehicle at the scene with its headlights on.Police said she was taken for medical testing with charges pending those results.
