Summit Hill police have charged a borough woman with passing a bad check.

On Feb. 26, Stephanie Sterling, 39, of 306 Ludlow St., wrote a check to the borough for money she owed for a parking ticket. The check was refused by the bank.Police cited her for writing a bad check.
