PVHS NHS hosts talent show

The National Honor Society at Panther Valley High School recently hosted a talent show to showcase students' abilities.

The show was directed and produced by senior Jake Tokosh, stated in the program that reviving the school's annual talent show was a dream of his since getting to high school. It was also produced by Amanda Stocker.The program included dancing, singing and instrumental numbers by 16 students. Participants were Tim Falu, Amber Guzman, Kyle Tetreault, Gabriella Frey, Christian Westby, Dewey Keer, Stephen Hajcak, Matt Keer, Natash Scerbo, Shane McGeehan, Judy Lin, Chrissy Musser, Caitlin Heilman, Jerdil Castillo, Katie Evans and Marissa Pettit.In addition Stocker served as stage manager; Zach Gilbert, technical producer; A/V and NHS members, backstage crew; and Tokosh, host.Each act was scored by originality, showmanship, techincal ability, and overall performance.Following the program, winners were announced and received a portion of the $250 prize. Winners were Gabriella Frey, first place, $100; Shane McGeehan, second place, $75; Tim Falu and Amber Guzman, third place, $50; and honorable mention, Dewey Keer and Christian Westby, honorable mention, $25.
