State police at Lehighton reported on the following driving under the influence (DUI) arrests made by troopers.

On Feb. 12 about 8:18 p.m. troopers stopped Jeremy Michael Cuprill, 22, of Kunkletown, along Fairgrounds Road, east of Gilbert Road, in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence, troopers said, and was placed under arrest.

On Feb. 14 about 9:15 p.m. troopers stopped Misty Hyneman, 30, of Coaldale, along SR209 at Packerton Dam Drive, in Mahoning Township, Carbon County, for several traffic violations. She was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, troopers said. She was taken to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

On Friday, Feb. 15, about 8:02 p.m. troopers stopped Matthew John Burger, 19, of East Stroudsburg, along SR209 at Silver Spring Blvd., in Polk Township, Monroe County, for traffic code violation. He was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest.

Also on Friday, about 9:40 p.m., troopers stopped Thomas Joseph Anthony, 35, of Palmerton, along Mauch Chunk Road at Railroad Avenue, in Palmerton, for traffic violations. He was found to be under the influence and taken to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test. Troopers said charges will be filed.

On Friday about 3:09 a.m. troopers stopped Trinity C. Baines, 37, of Effort, was involved in a crash along SR534 at Ken Mar Acres, in Polk Township. Baines was found to be under the influence and taken to the county DUI center for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers said.

At 10:30 p.m. Friday troopers stopped Justin Jake Solomon, 19, of Albrightsville, along SR209 in the area of the Towamensing Fire Company in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be under the influence. He was also found to be in possession of marijuana, troopers said. He is facing the DUI and drug count.

On Sunday, Feb. 17, about 2:21 a.m. troopers stopped Stacy L. Behler, 27, of Lehighton, at the intersection of state routes 209 and 248, in Franklin Township, Carbon County, after being observed committing traffic violations. She was found to be under the influence and was taken to the Palmerton hospital for a blood test. Troopers said charges will be filed.

Also on Sunday, about 2:30 a.m., troopers stopped John Clewell III, 29, of South Sterling, Wayne County, was stopped along SR209, near Weir Lake Road, in Chestnuthill Township, for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was taken to the county DUI center for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results.

On Monday, Feb. 18, about 10:05 p.m. troopers said Steven Todd Deyoung, 41, of Jim Thorpe, was involved in an accident along Behrens Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, where is 2008 Ford Mustang left the road and struck some trees and brush. He was found to be under the influence and taken for a blood test.

The DUI charge is pending the test results.
