It's a big concert weekend at the Mauch Chunk Opera House in Jim Thorpe.

Tonight and Saturday, Tusk - The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Experience, will be presented. Opera House officials said Tusk is here for two evenings because the last time the band performed it sold out.

There are two special events occcurring with this concert.

Tusk will be releasing its "Live CD" recorded at last year's Mauch Chunk Opera House concert.

Also, Tusk will be joined at both performances by singer/songwriter Jeffrey Gaines.

On Sunday at 7 p.m. the reknowned Allentown Band will be in concert at the venue.

Tusk will be performing at 8:30 p.m. this evening at at 8 p.m. tomorow. Tickets are $23.

Tusk not only covers the music of Fleetwood Mac flawlessly but they recreate the stage show of this great band as well. Tusk covers all the hits of Fleetwood Mac, which has featured the talents of Mick Fleetwood, Christine and John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and others over the years.

Tusk is fronted by the vocals of singer-songwriter Kathy Phillips, a respected New Jersey based musician with a remarkable ability to capture the essence of Stevie Nicks. She has the voice and look that will impress even the most die-hard fan.

The band consists of Scott McDonald in the roll of Lindsey Buckingham on guitar and vocals, Tom Nelson as Mick Fleetwood on drums, Randy Artiglere as John McVie on Bass, and Kim Williams as Christine McVie on Keyboards and vocals.
