Palmerton Area Library recently held its 6th annual Art Show and Lunch sponsored by the Friends of the Library. The event featured over 60 paintings and other art media done by local artists. Over 100 people attended the show and enjoyed a lunch of soups, sandwiches, salads and desserts prepared by the Friends of the Library. The "Peoples' Choice Award" was won by Lyndsey Heinrich of Palmerton for her sketch of her house titled "Est. 1860." Lyndsey is the daughter of Scott and Kelly Heinrich and is currently a student at Millersville University of Pennsylvania.
