The Tamaqua Borough work crew will be conducting snow removal operations this week, as work schedules and weather permit.

Tuesday's schedule will include: north side of Broad Street, from the railroad tracks near Turkey Hill to Odd Fellows Cemetery; Mauch Chunk Street, both sides, Broad to Pine; Pine Street, both sides from Broad to Mauch Chunk; Berwick Street, both sides from Broad to Hegarty Avenue; Nescopec Street, both sides from Broad to Hegarty Avenue; Swatara Street, both sides from iron steps to Lafayette Street.Streets are posted the day before snow removal begins. All vehicles must be removed from the posted streets. Any vehicle that is not moved will be ticketed and towed at the owner's expense.Snow removal may begin as early as 12:01 a.m. on the day of operations, so motorists should move their vehicles the night before.
