The Slatington Library will off the Wonderful World of Wildlife Christmas Story Hour at 10 a.m. Saturday. All children ages 4 through fifth grade are invited. There will be animal stories and crafts.

The holiday schedule for the library will be: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 23; closed Dec. 24-26; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, Dec. 27; 8 a.m. until noon, Saturday, Dec. 28; 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 30; closed Dec. 31-Jan. 2; 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Friday, Jan. 3; and 8 a.m. until 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 4.

Regular library hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday; closed Thursday and Sunday.

The library takes donations of books. It does not take encyclopedias, National Geographic, or Reader's Digest condensed books. The library sells hardback books for 50 cents, and paperbacks for a quarter.
