State police at Frackville are investigating the death of a Schuylkill County woman.

Troopers said Melissa McGuire, 30, of 101 E. Phillips St, Coaldale, was found unresponsive in her residence about 6:15 p.m. Thursday. She was transported to St. Luke's Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale, where she was later pronounced dead by county deputy coroner Melissa Sommers.Troopers said the investigation is ongoing and pending autopsy results.
