The Lehighton School board accepted the resignation of Floyd Brown as assistant wrestling coach at its last meeting.

The school board also approved the athletic hires of Benjamin Tkach as assistant wrestling coach and Jared Brownmiller as volunteer wrestling coach.Additional athletic hires for the 2013-2014 school year include Bill Brong, Amber Konek and Bernard Shea as assistant high school track coaches. Kimberly Lusch and Tim Sharrow were approved as middle school assistant track coaches.
