Nicole Ann Yeastedt weds Christopher D'Emilio

Nicole Ann Yeastedt, daughter of Michael and Ann Yeastedt of Jim Thorpe, was united in marriage to Christopher D'Emilio, son of Michael and Patricia D'Emilio of Northampton on Aug. 11, 2012 at Woodstone Country Club in Danielsville.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by District Justice Edward M. Lewis of Jim Thorpe. Kathryn McKeon of Jim Thorpe was the vocalist.Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose her mother, Ann, as a matron of honor; Angela Matchica of West Chester, Pa., as a matron of honor; Kristen Hess, West Chester, matron of honor; and Mary Morrison, Pittsburgh, maid of honor.Bridesmaids were Jenn Stump and Sarah Ashworth, both of Northampton and sisters of the bridegroom; Amy Vanderveen, Pittsburgh; Meredith Broberg, Pittsburgh; Kathryn Rider, West Chester; Andrea Beckman, Media, Pa.; Ali Tannous, Reading, Pa.; Jennifer Tannous, Bethlehem; and Katie Sepp, Northport, Long Island, N.Y.The bridegroom chose Mike Zettlemoyer of Northampton, to perform the duties of best man.Ushers included Ben Tannous, Bethlehem; Mike Wagner, Bethlehem; Mike Venanzi, Bethlehem; and Tony Beers, Northampton.Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated with family and friends at the Woodstone Country Club.Their honeymoon included a trip to St. Lucia and to Dewey Beach, Del. to see a concert by Donavan Frankenreiter at the Bottle and Cork. The couple had become engaged at a Frankenreiter concert there in 2011.The new Mrs. D'Emilio earned a bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Penn State University and master's in curriculum and instruction from Moravian College.She is currently attending graduate school at Penn State working toward a writing certificate.For the past eight years she has been employed as an 11th-grade English teacher at Liberty High School in Bethlehem.Mr. D'Emilio has a bachelor of science degree in math from Elizabethtown College and a master's in educational technology from Wilkes University.He has worked for nine years at Liberty High School as a math teacher and as a JV basketball coach and track and field throwing coach, also at Liberty.Prenuptial parties for the couple included a bridal shower at Mahoning Valley Country Club and a rehearsal dinner at Woodstone Country Club.They currently reside in Bethlehem.
