Preschool story hour is held every Friday at 10:30 a.m. during the school year beginning Sept. 6.Watercolor painting classes are offered on Tuesdays for children. New classes for adults and children are now forming.Homework Helpers meets every Wednesday, at 2:45 p.m. for grades 7-12 and 3:15 p.m. for grades 1-6. Volunteer tutors will help your child with his or her homework and other assignments. This is free but parents must register each child.New members are welcome to join the Teen Advisory Group. Sponsors and new teams are welcome.A free concert featuring Jay Smar, "Coal Mining Songs of the Northeast," will be offered Sunday, Sept. 29 at 2 p.m. The concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and the Pennsylvania Humanities Council.A quilt show will be held Sunday, Oct. 13 from noon to 4 p.m.
