Lehighton and Slatington Rotary Clubs recently held a joint meeting at Lehigh Gap Nature Center, located at the foot of the Kittatinny Ridge between the towns of Slatington and Palmerton. Nick DeBlasio, DPT, OCS, CSCS of Physical Therapy at St. Luke's in Orefield was guest speaker. As one of only 200 orthopedic clinical specialists in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, he discussed the importance of expert, individualized outpatient physical therapy by licensed therapists or physical / occupational therapist assistants.
