The Blue Ribbon Foundation of Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania (BCNEPA) is committed to supporting nonprofit agencies that respond to the needs of its neighbors throughout the region. The Foundation's board of directors recently approved nearly $125,000 in contributions that will be shared by 14 United Ways across BCNEPA's 13-county service area.

As part of that contribution, the Greater Weatherly Area Community Chest and United Way of Carbon County each received $1,000 targeted specifically to support health-related programs for Carbon County residents."We are pleased to once again partner with the Greater Weatherly Area Community Chest and United Way of Carbon County to help provide much-needed services for Carbon County's most vulnerable residents," said Cynthia A. Yevich, executive director of The Blue Ribbon Foundation."We are very appreciative of the continued generosity from The Blue Ribbon Foundation," said Sandra Eroh, treasurer, Greater Weatherly Area Community Chest. "Their continued support allows us to serve families most at-risk in our area."
