Carbon man facing more charges

A Carbon County man is facing additional criminal charges.

On Monday, April 22, Kidder Township police charged James Bradley Huff, 33, of White Haven, with felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property counts along with misdemeanor counts of theft and receiving.The arrest stems from thefts that occurred at the Jack Frost Ski Area between January and March, police said. A total of $3,956.38 in cash was taken.Huff was arraigned before District Judge Joseph Homanko, of Weatherly, and committed to the county prison in Nesquehoning in lieu of bail.Huff was arrested earlier this month by Kidder police. In that arrest he was charged with felony theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, and misdemeanor criminal mischief for an incident that occurred on Sept. 12, 2012, at the Boulder View Tavern. A total of $6,316 in cash was taken from a safe.
