Cabela's Hamburg location will celebrate the growing number of women enjoying the outdoors with a National Wild Turkey Federation's Women In The Outdoors event Saturday, April, 20, under the direction of the Blue Mountain Chapter of the NWTF.

Classes offered range from archery to cast iron cooking, and the programs are designed to encourage women to try new outdoor activities in a safe environment that makes them feel at ease. This event provides the opportunity for women of all walks of life singles, moms, daughters, young and old to spend a day outdoors, away from home, having fun and making new friends.

Through the WITO program women can try a variety of activities they may hesitate to do on their own. Pre-registration and a $55 registration fee ($20 for current NWTF members) are required for this event. This fee includes a one-year membership to the NWTF and a subscription to "Turkey Country," the NWTF's full-color publication, and the "Pennsylvania Turkey Talk" publication.

Registration can be done by contacting Leslie Smith at lsmith@nwtf.net [1] or (484) 634-0069.
