Contractors have already completely demolished two Interstate 81 bridges as part of PennDOT's Interstate 81 Bridge Replacement Rehabilitation Project. The project includes preservation and rehabilitation work to 10 structures and full replacement of five structures between exit 134 (Delano) and exit 138 (PA 309) in Delano and Kline townships, Schuylkill County. Starting last month, all southbound traffic was joined with the northbound lanes. PennDOT is stressing drivers to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
