Penn State Extension's West End Community Change Club will host a workshop aimed at ideas for increasing the consumption of fruits and vegetables in meals on Monday, Nov. 2 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Western Pocono Community Library, Pilgrim Way, Brodheadsville.

Bill Scepansky of Smart Partner will demonstrate easy ways to make simple changes to your diet that will have your family eating healthier in no time. Learn to shop by seasons and take advantage of local bounty. Participants will sample and take home recipes for tasty preparations that will be prepared right in front of them. This is an evening not to miss for anyone involved in food preparation and serious about making healthy changes to your household, for the good of your entire family.

Pre-registration is required by Oct. 29 for the presentation, food samples, and take home recipes. Healthier Picks workshop is partially funded by the Monroe County Extension Family Living Endowment.
