A Coaldale man was taken into custody by Rush Township Police on Aug. 30 in connection with an outstanding warrant issued by the Luzerne County Sheriff's Office.

David Dahms, 36, was arrested at 6:46 p.m. that day in the vicinity of Taggertsville Road. During a search, officers discovered synthetic marijuana in the possession of Dahm and Crystal Conahan, 29, of Coaldale.

Conahan faces charges of possession for the synthetic marijuana as well as for possession of the drug Diazepam.

Dahm was transported to the county prison for the outstanding warrant and also faces charges of possession of a controlled substance.
